With your generous donations, additional IV pumps have been added to the Emergency Room.
The Emergency Department already used IV pumps as part of routine patient care. However, staff identified that having a few more pumps would improve workflow, reduce patient wait times and enhance overall safety. New IV pumps have now been purchased and placed in the department, directly supporting faster treatment initiation, more reliable medication delivery and greater capacity during busy periods.
What this means for patients and families
Shorter waits for initiation of IV therapies, including pain relief, fluids and medications.
Improved accuracy and consistency in medication administration.
Greater ability for staff to care for multiple patients at once during peak times or complex cases.
