Going to a Good Cause

The Taber & District Health Foundation is committed to advancing local healthcare through improved technology, equipment, and services. This year, funds raised from the Tournament will help purchase 11 wall‑mounted Vital Signs Monitors for Acute Care at the Taber Health Centre, a $45,560 investment that will directly enhance patient safety and staff efficiency.

With a current shortage of monitors, nurses often wait for equipment or must disinfect machines between isolation rooms, delaying assessments and impacting infection control. Adding more monitors will ensure every room has immediate access to vital signs monitoring, reduce equipment movement, support safer workflows, and streamline patient data through Connect Care for faster interventions.

It’s not about replacing old equipment, it’s about giving our healthcare teams the essential tools they need to care for more patients, more safely, and more efficiently.
