Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Taber & District Health Foundation has funded the purchase of four new Nara Bassinets for the maternity unit.
Dairy Queen Blizzard Day funded one bassinet, while generous donor contributions made the remaining three possible.
Nara Bassinets provide a safe, secure, and hygienic environment for newborns while helping healthcare staff maintain high infection-control standards. As the number of deliveries continues to grow, supported in part by the expansion of the local midwifery program, having adequate bassinets is essential to ensuring families can receive care close to home.
This investment helps the maternity team meet increasing demand and reduces the risk of early discharge or travel to another site because of equipment shortages.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dairy Queen, our donors, and everyone who supports local healthcare. Together, you are helping provide families with exceptional care during one of life's most important moments.
